Rate My Professor Gabriele Tartaglino Mazzucchelli

His research specializes in theoretical physics of fundamental interactions and mathematical physics, focusing on supersymmetry, supergravity and superspaces in various space-time dimensions, quantum field theory, extended supersymmetry, covariant formulations of superstrings, complex geometry, quantum gravity, holography, (A)dS/CFT correspondence, and integrability. Tartaglino-Mazzucchelli has attracted competitive research grants and awards totaling approximately 2.5 million Australian dollars, including a Marie Curie fellowship, an ARC Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA), an ARC Future Fellowship, and two ARC Discovery Projects, with one as the first Chief Investigator. Notable publications include "Superspace approaches to N=1 supergravity" (2024), "Covariant superspace approaches to N=2 supergravity" (2024), "On three-dimensional N=4 supersymmetry: maximally supersymmetric backgrounds and massive deformations" (2025, Journal of High Energy Physics), "Six-dimensional N=(2,0) conformal superspace" (2025, Journal of High Energy Physics), and over 80 additional journal articles and book chapters, garnering more than 2000 citations. Recognized as an international leading expert on supersymmetry and supergravity, his work has developed key mathematical formalisms for manifest supersymmetry, contributed to holographic dualities in AdS/CFT, and advanced integrable deformations of quantum field theories.
