About Ronghong
Dr. Ronghong Huang is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the UQ Business School, The University of Queensland. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy from the same institution in 2017, with a doctoral thesis entitled 'Managerial Overconfidence and Corporate Finance Policies.' Huang's research centers on behavioral aspects of corporate finance, including CEO overconfidence, corporate debt maturity choices, investor overconfidence, stock price crash risk, corporate acquisitions, regulatory impacts on investments, and empirical asset pricing factors. His work examines how managerial traits and market uncertainties influence firm financial policies and stock performance, contributing to understandings of overconfidence biases in financial decision-making and their implications for corporate outcomes.
Huang has published extensively in leading finance and accounting journals.
