Jacobus H. van 't Hoff

Jacobus Henricus van 't Hoff was a Dutch chemist. He received the first Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1901 for the discovery of the laws of chemical dynamics and osmotic pressure in solutions. He was affiliated with Berlin University when awarded.
