James P. Allison

James P. Allison is an American immunologist known for research on cancer immunotherapy. He shared the 2018 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for the discovery of cancer therapy by inhibition of negative immune regulation. He was affiliated with the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy when awarded.
