Professional bio
John E. Walker is a British biochemist. He shared the 1997 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for elucidation of the enzymatic mechanism underlying the synthesis of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). He was affiliated with the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology.
