Professional bio
Max Ferdinand Perutz was a molecular biologist born in 1914. He shared the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1962 for studies of the structures of globular proteins. At the time of the award he was affiliated with the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology in the United Kingdom.
