Peter Ratcliffe

Sir Peter J. Ratcliffe is a British physician-scientist. He won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2019 for discoveries of how cells sense and adapt to oxygen availability. He shared the prize with William G. Kaelin Jr. and Gregg L. Semenza.
