Rabindranath Tagore

Rabindranath Tagore was an Indian poet, writer, and composer who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913. He was awarded the prize for his profoundly sensitive, fresh, and beautiful verse, which he translated into English and which became part of Western literature.
