Rosalyn Yalow

Rosalyn Yalow was an American medical physicist. She won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1977 for the development of radioimmunoassays of peptide hormones. Her technique allowed sensitive measurement of hormones and other substances in the blood.
