Overview
The Exact Sciences programme at Adam Mickiewicz University Poznan offers advanced doctoral training.
These fields address the understanding of the universe, information processing, abstract mathematical structures, material composition and transformations, and physical phenomena at multiple scales, from subatomic particles to cosmic systems.
It combines theoretical and experimental approaches, enabling research into areas such as astrophysics, artificial intelligence, data processing, mathematical modeling, chemical synthesis, and physical interactions. The programme also emphasizes the use of specialized tools and methods, including computational systems, laboratory experimentation, observational instruments, and advanced analytical techniques.
Key Facts
Research activities within the programme cover both foundational and applied topics, such as the study of celestial bodies, development of algorithms and computer systems, mathematical theory and applications, chemical processes and materials, and physical systems in natural and technological contexts.
These research areas contribute to advancements across scientific and interdisciplinary domains.
The programme supports collaboration with national and international research centers and integrates diverse methodologies from mathematics, physics, and computational sciences, enabling doctoral candidates to engage with complex scientific problems and contribute to ongoing developments in exact sciences.
