The Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, University of Zagreb invites applications for:
One (1) Assistant position (m/f) in the scientific area of Technical Sciences, scientific field of Transport and Traffic Technology, on a fixed-term, full-time basis at the Department of Air Transport.
Applicants must meet the general requirements prescribed by the Croatian Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette Nos. 119/2022 and 110/2026) and submit appropriate supporting documentation.
Preference in the selection process will be given to applicants who have received the Rector’s Award and who have achieved a weighted grade point average of at least 3.5 separately at undergraduate and graduate level.
Applications must include:
- Curriculum Vitae in EUROPASS format;
- proof of the required educational qualification;
- electronic record of employment history issued by the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute (HZMO);
- proof of citizenship (copy of a Croatian citizenship certificate or identity card);
- appropriate evidence demonstrating fulfilment of the statutory requirements.
Applicants are also encouraged to submit information on their previous scientific, teaching and professional activities.
Applicants who obtained their qualification abroad must submit a decision on the recognition of their foreign higher education qualification. Foreign nationals must submit proof of proficiency in the Croatian language at C2 level.
Applicants claiming a statutory right of priority in employment must expressly invoke that right in their application and submit all documentation required under the relevant legislation. Such applicants shall have priority only under equal conditions.
The Faculty reserves the right to conduct interviews and/or tests of knowledge and skills for applicants who meet the formal requirements. Candidates will be informed of the place and time of the assessment by e-mail. Failure to attend the assessment will be considered a withdrawal of the application.
The Faculty reserves the right not to select any applicant and to cancel or suspend the recruitment procedure without providing additional reasons.
Applications must be submitted within 30 days from the date of publication of the call. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered and applicants will not subsequently be invited to supplement incomplete applications.
