Advise students and participate in departmental service activities. Play a critical role in continuing to build the Asian Studies program through service. Qualifications: A minimum of a Ph.D. degree in Economics (advanced ABDs with dissertation defenses scheduled prior to the start of the fall semester 2027 will be considered). Research interest and teaching capability in economics and Asian studies relating to China and Asia. Evidence of teaching experience and promise and/or a teaching statement. Three reference letters are required as part of the application. One research paper to serve as evidence of scholarly promise is also required.
