The Athletics and Wellness Department is looking for a Assistant Softball Coach for the spring 2027 season. The Assistant Softball Coach will perform the following duties:
- Assist the Head Softball Coach with planning and conducting practices, skill-development sessions, and team activities.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Competitive softball playing experience at the secondary and/or collegiate level.
- Coaching experience at the secondary and/or collegiate level preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of softball fundamentals, rules, strategies, and player development.
- Must maintain current CPR/AED certification
- Strong instructional, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a coaching staff and support the goals of a collegiate athletic program.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Salary: $2,700.00 - $4,000.00 (depending on experience)(Paid in 2 installments).
Training & Recruitment / State Date: August 1, 2025
Season Practice / Start Date: January 1, 2027 - End Date: May 31, 2027
