Assistant/Associate Professor or Assistant Clinical/Associate Clinical Professor

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with students, faculty, staff, and clinical partners.

Ability to perform successfully the professional duties assigned.

Ability to provide effective instruction, academic support, and guidance to prelicensure nursing students.

Ability to engage in scholarship and research.

Ability to demonstrate academic growth.

Candidates for this faculty position with expertise in Medical-Surgical Nursing are encouraged to apply. Acute care or critical care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in nursing at the time employment begins.
• Must have current clinical skills.
• Candidates must hold an unencumbered Alabama RN license or Multistate RN License.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree or doctorate degree conferred by date of hire.
• Teaching experience in a baccalaureate nursing program and certified in a clinical specialty.
