The Section of Palliative Medicine invites applications for a Johns Hopkins University physician position based at our Johns Hopkins Hospital location. We are seeking candidates who are board certified or board eligible in Hospice & Palliative Medicine for this full-time role as an inpatient palliative medicine consulting physician. Academic rank is commensurate with level of experience.
The Palliative Medicine Program has faculty from a wide range of departments and fields, including medicine, oncology, geriatrics, pulmonology and critical care, surgery, as well as interdisciplinary team members from nursing, social work, chaplaincy and pharmacy. The successful candidate will have strong clinical skills necessary to join our rapidly growing program. Applicants should demonstrate a strong potential for excellence in clinical care, house-staff education, or quality improvement and research. The candidate will have opportunities for mentorship and scholarship.
The referenced salary range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. This salary range does not include all components of the Department of Medicine faculty compensation program or pay from participation in Department of Medicine incentive compensation programs. Therefore, the actual compensation paid to the selected candidate may vary from the salary range stated herein. For more information, please contact the hiring department.

Salary Range
The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on Johns Hopkins University's good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.
