The graduate shall have professional and methodological knowledge in the fields of linguistics, literature, and cultural-political and economic realia.
This knowledge is the starting point for original and innovative research as well as for the practical application of the graduate. The latter shall demonstrate highly specialised dispositions and knowledge of basic theories of research methodologies and their practical application.
They shall be able to apply the knowledge convincingly in argumentation, while being aware of the relations with related areas, especially psychology, sociology, history, political science, and philosophy. During the study, the graduate is led to critical and analytical thinking and evaluation of various concepts and approaches to the respective research issues. During the study, the graduate shall acquire the ability to independently and creatively address the issues researched.
