About the Role
We are recruiting for a Calibration Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering business.
This is a hands-on role involving the calibration, testing and inspection of measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
We're looking for someone with a good technical understanding, excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out calibration, testing and inspection of measuring instruments and equipment.
- Identify and report equipment faults, inaccuracies or defects.
- Ensure equipment meets required accuracy and quality standards.
- Record calibration results and maintain accurate documentation.
- Work with a range of measuring instruments and technical equipment.
- Follow calibration procedures and health and safety guidelines.
- Support the maintenance and improvement of calibration processes.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in calibration, engineering, inspection or a similar technical role.
- Good understanding of measuring equipment and calibration procedures.
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good problem-solving skills and a practical approach.
- Confident working independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, organised and motivated to learn.
