This person must be a proactive communicator and strategic thinker who can balance multiple priorities while identifying new sponsorship opportunities that support WBHM's mission. A passion for public media and community engagement is essential. Duties and Responsibilities: * Ensures adherence to the FCC's regulations regarding non-commercial radio sponsorship and announcement copy. In addition to FCC compliance, is responsible for on-air pronouncers for hosts and announcers, as well as providing corrections and "make goods" when errors happen. * Responsible for entry of all contracts into traffic software in a timely and efficient manner and securing signed contracts for audit purposes. * Manages a portfolio and pipeline of corporate and foundations in the renewal process for retention and continued support of WBHM. * Manages sponsorship CRM and database. * Works with business clients for strategic opportunities to increase financial support yearover-year through new packages and opportunities. * Works with clients to establish long term partnerships and strengthen existing relationships with corporate, local, and nonprofit sectors. * Collaborates and develops new revenue opportunities within WBHM and its on-air and digital offerings for sponsorship opportunities. * Maintains a mix of philanthropic event and program sponsorships, as well as broadcast and digital sponsorships. * Responsible for all sponsorship business including, but not limited to: monthly closeout, weekly deposits, credit card revenue and reconciliation, review of payment and billing status for clients, monthly review of accounts as necessary, errors, corrections, collections and past due accounts, etc. * Assists and participates in WBHM community and audience engagement events. 8 * Performs other duties as assigned Salary Range : $45,395 - $64,000 Qualifications Bachelor s degree in English, Media, Communications, Sales, Marketing, Public Administration, Business or a related field and two (2) years related work experience.
