Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Financial Reporting Manager supports the financial operations of Fairmont State University by collecting, reviewing and analyzing financial data for external and internal financial reporting requirements. This role assists in producing timely, accurate and compliant financial reports while adhering to federal, state and institutional regulations and guidelines, maintains strong communication and relationships with the campus community and key financial stakeholders.

- Assist with monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities, including but not limited to preparing accrual entries, completing, reviewing and correcting journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial data to ensure the accuracy of financial information
