• specific functions: the selected faculty member will be expected to conduct research and teaching activities consistent with the relevant academic discipline field and aligned with the main research priorities of the University, its Research Centres, and its Schools, focusing on strategy and innovation management. Although formally affiliated with the Department of Business and Management, the successful candidate will be assigned to Luiss Business School. The selected faculty member will conduct research and teaching on strategy and innovation management within both the Department of Business and Management and Luiss Business School. They will also be expected to promote research projects at both the national and international levels. The selected faculty member must be able to teach in both Italian and English. Teaching activities, supplementary teaching activities and student support service shall amount to 350 hours per year, including 120 hours per year dedicated to classroom teaching in the case of a full-time commitment regime, or 250 hours per year, including 90 hours per year dedicated to classroom teaching in the case of a defined-time (part-time) commitment regime. The teaching activity will be carried out as part of the planning of undergraduate, single-cycle and graduate’s degree courses of the University, and will consist in carrying out lectures, exercises and theoretical-practical activities, assistance during exams, in any teaching assignments assigned as an institutional task, according to the provisions and within the limits of the law. The teaching activity will be carried out with reference to the academic-discipline field, namely “ECON-07/A - Management”. In particular, the role will cover the following areas:
  • corporate strategy;
  • innovation strategy;
  • innovation management;
  • the creation and management of knowledge and technological innovation.
