Position duties include teaching courses across the social work curriculum (undergraduate and/or graduate courses) and serving as the co-director of the field office, with shared responsibility for overseeing field office processes and data collection to monitor the field office's impact on student learning across the social work curriculum (undergraduate and/or graduate courses). This candidate will also actively engage in curriculum development and department activities. The faculty member is expected to work with municipal and regional service organizations to cultivate field placement sites and provide meaningful service to the department, college, and the profession.
Minimum Qualifications
- Earned a MSW degree from a Council of Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited institution
- Holds an active clinical license in Social Work at the time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Holds a doctoral degree or enrolled in a doctoral program from an accredited institution.
- Motivation and demonstrated experience in delivering engaging high-quality online teaching.
- Ability to teach foundation courses and advanced clinical courses.
- Commitment to purposeful mentoring of BSW and MSW students.
