Job Description
- Participation in research, scientific and implementation projects, including documentation of research activities and preparation of reports;
- Operation of tribological research equipment;
- Execution of research and development projects as well as research services in the field of tribology;
- Continuous professional development and expansion of scientific and research achievements.
Requirements
- Master's degree in one of the following fields: tribology, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, surface engineering, or a related discipline;
- Professional degree: at least M.Sc. Eng. in one of the above fields;
- Experience in research and development projects;
- Good command of English, both spoken and written, at a minimum B2 level;
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Ability for creative thinking and scientific development;
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
- Knowledge of foreign languages other than English;
- Documented practical knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. PMI, PRINCE);
- Ability to apply mathematical and/or statistical modelling within the above-mentioned technical areas;
- Experience in cooperation with industry in implementing research results, for example through participation in commercialization-oriented projects.
