undergraduate and potentially MA-level dissertations depending on need, and act as Personal Academic Tutor to undergraduate students. The Lecturer in Modern History may also teach at L3/Foundation Year depending on need.
The successful applicant will be expected to teach set areas, though there may be some room for the individual’s own materials to be substituted where possible and reasonable. The general area of expertise sought is in 20th-century British social and cultural history, broadly speaking.
