Duties and Responsibilities: Dust, sweep, mop and vacuum and strip and wax floors, stairways and corridors Determine type of chemicals and equipment necessary for specific cleaning tasks Clean restrooms and restock paper and soap supplies Perform routine maintenance to custodial equipment and maintain/order supplies Empty trash receptacles and bag trash for proper disposal Clean windows, walls, furniture and other items as assigned or as necessary Properly lock and unlock doors for cleaning purposes; ensure all windows and doors are secured as appropriate when leaving Set up rooms for various functions using a work order for direction Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices Assist with ice, snow and other debris removal activities Operate a service vehicle as required to perform duties Available for call back and scheduled overtime, as required Other duties as assigned or as necessary
