The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration, scheduling, customer service and clerical support. Essential Functions
- Greets patients and families to the practice, provides necessary registration form to the patient for completion and signature, reviews and updates patient information in EPIC (E.H.R.)
- Accepting, recording, and verifying insurance information,
- Processing referrals and prior authorization requests
- Collecting copays and account balance payments
- Efficiently and timely answering phone calls and directing calls to the appropriate staff or records messages.
- Scanning documents into EMR and other administrative tasks related to the efficient operations of the department
- Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing related tasks as requested.
- Performing other duties as assigned by management, in accordance with established office policy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a HS Diploma or GED

Additional Information
This position is classified as Non-Exempt, grade F Compensation for this grade ranges from $14.10 to $21.15 per hour. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
