This role is company-based and will be delivered in collaboration with the School of Mathematics and Physics at Queen’s.
The successful candidate will become part of a team within iMed NI. IMed Healthcare is a leading pharmaceutical wholesaler specialising in the sourcing, manufacturing and supply of parallel imported branded medicines, generic and OTC products to the NI, UK and RoI medicines market. About the person:
The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Masters level degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Operational Research, or a closely related discipline.
- Relevant experience of analysing real-world data, resulting in the creation of a statistics or operational research model*.
- Proficient in statistical programming languages (e.g. R, Python or a closely related language)*.
- Completion of a substantial statistical or operational research project (either group based or individual) in either university or industry*.
- Relevant experience in presenting the findings of models at a level suitable for a non-statistical or mathematical audience.*
