Overview
On successful completion of the Ph.D. in Eurasian Studies from Nazarbayev University, students should be able to:
- Critically analyze and demonstrate detailed knowledge of the history, culture and society of the Eurasian Region appropriate to a specialist in the field.
- Differentiate, compare and employ concepts from different disciplines and/or interdisciplinary approaches at a specialist's level.
- Examine and explain a range of primary and secondary, written and/or oral and/or visual sources, in their original language.

- During the application period, final year master's students may submit an official transcript for current coursework for consideration; A minimum CGPA of 2.75 out of 4.00 in an applicant's Master's degree. For PhD in Eurasian studies program, a competitive CGPA in an applicant's Master's degree.
