Offer Description
Institute of Mathematics PAS announces a competition for a two-year postdoctoral position within the ERC StG 2025 grant ‘QPROJECT – Quantitative projection problems in geometric measure theory’ led by PI Dr. Damian Dąbrowski.
Required qualifications:
- PhD in mathematics obtained prior to commencement of employment.
- Experience in geometric measure theory or harmonic analysis.
- Fluency in English.
- Knowledge of quantitative rectifiability theory or fractal geometry will be an advantage.
Task description:
In the project we'll be studying the properties of orthogonal and radial projections from the point of view of geometric measure theory.
