Offer Description
The offered position is a postdoctoral research appointment at the Aragon Nanoscience and Materials Institute (INMA, CSIC–University of Zaragoza), Spain, under the supervision of CSIC tenured scientist Dr. Yue-Wen Fang. The successful candidate will conduct first-principles calculations and develop advanced computational approaches combining DFT and machine learning to investigate ferroic materials, with particular emphasis on lattice dynamics and phase transitions of ferroelectrics. Opportunities for collaboration with experimental groups will also be available.

Skills/Qualifications
PhD in relevant fields with strong background in computational physics or materials science.
Specific Requirements
A PhD in Condensed Matter Physics, Materials Science, or a closely related field is required. A strong background in ab initio calculations of electronic and phonon properties is required.
Knowledge of ferroelectricity, anharmonic lattice dynamics, and nuclear quantum effects is desirable.
Experience with machine-learning techniques, databases and Python-based workflows is desirable.
