This predoctoral contract is linked to the project SEK-25-GRU-GIC-24-016, funded by a regional aid program. The research focuses on the mechanical behaviour of materials and structures in service. The selected candidate will join a consolidated research group at the University of Oviedo. The work will include numerical modelling of structural materials with applications across various industrial sectors.

Requirements

Research Field: Engineering

Education Level: Bachelor Degree or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications: Knowledge in structural materials, numerical modelling, COMSOL Multiphysics simulation, mechanical testing, and data analysis will be valued.

Specific Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Maths, Physics or equivalent qualifications (previous study plans)
