Research Assistant / Research Associate

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification preferably in biology, bioinformatics, or a related discipline;
• For the research associate position, applicants are expected to have a strong publication record, and preferred qualifications include research training in RNA biology, biochemistry/protein biochemistry, mRNA translational control, epigenetic regulation, plant or microbial molecular biology, cancer biology, or genome-wide analysis/bioinformatics;
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated and well organized; and
• Good command of both written and spoken English.

The Initial appointments will be offered on a fixed term contract of 6-12 months. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
