The Education, Knowledge and Society Program (ECyS) constitutes a research space for a group of researchers and specialists from the Education Area of FLACSO Argentina. We are brought together by the concern to understand and reflect on the challenges and past, present, and future problems of the educational world. The Program invites junior and senior researchers, postdoctoral fellows, and doctoral candidates who wish to carry out a research stay at FLACSO Argentina or to develop joint research projects. The thematic focuses are organized into working groups: Studies on Educational Processes in Contemporary Contexts; Studies on Elites and Socio-educational Inequalities; Studies on Knowledge and School Practices; Meeting of Researchers in Secondary Education; Government and Educational Planning; and Studies on Education, Gender, Sexualities, and Bodies.
Eligibility
Applicants should hold (or be close to completing) a PhD in Education or related fields. Candidates are expected to demonstrate experience in academic research and a clear alignment with the Program’s thematic areas.
Funding
Please note that this Hosting Offer does not include financial support. FLACSO Argentina participates exclusively as a host institution. Applicants are expected to secure their own funding through external fellowships or research grants, which should cover travel, accommodation, and living expenses.
