Are you interested in working at Waubonsee Community College in Industry and Technology? Even when we don't have an active opening, you can submit your information to join our candidate pool.
This is not an application for a currently open position. Submitting your information does not mean there is an available position or guarantee that you will be contacted for an interview. Instead, your application allows us to learn more about your background and may help us identify potential candidates when future opportunities become available.
How It Works
1. Submit your application.
Tell us about your experience, qualifications, and the type of work you're interested in.
2. Check our current openings.
While you're here, take a look at our current job postings. You are encouraged to apply separately for any positions that interest you and for which you meet the qualifications. You can also set up job alerts directly from the Job Openings webpage.
3. Keep your information current.
If your experience, education, or contact information changes, we encourage you to update your application or submit a new one as appropriate.
When Do We Typically Hire?
Hiring needs vary by department and are based on enrollment, staffing needs, funding, and available positions. However, many college positions may have increased hiring activity around the start of a semester:
Spring 2027: Classes begin January 19. We start posting positions as early as September.
Summer 2027: Classes begin May 24, with additional summer sessions beginning throughout June. We start posting openings in April.
Fall 2027: We begin posting for the Fall as early as May.
Because hiring needs can change throughout the year, we recommend checking our current job openings regularly rather than waiting for a specific hiring season.
