The Department of Neuroscience at Yale University seeks to hire new tenure-track faculty members with interests in computational or theoretical neuroscience. We recognize that artificial intelligence and machine learning are changing all aspects of neuroscience from analysis of neural activity to network modeling to imaging to bioinformatics to molecular modeling. We are enthusiastic about candidates using computational methods to link models with experimental data and are convinced that merging these disciplines is key to the progress of neuroscience.

The successful candidates will be embedded in a richly collaborative community supporting intellectual creativity. The Department of Neuroscience at Yale realizes that the full potential of our research lies in the power that varied perspectives bring to the field.
