We advance theoretical and empirical research on journalism, political communication, and media effects in digital environments. Methodologically, we focus on quantitative approaches (e.g., content analysis, surveys, longitudinal modelling) and computational social science (e.g., automated content analysis, digital traces). We embrace open science practices and building methodological capacities for the scientific community, with a focus on interdisciplinary perspectives.
