🎓 What is an Exam Supervisor?

The Exam Supervisor, a vital position in higher education, is responsible for overseeing examinations to guarantee their fairness and security. This role, sometimes called an invigilator or proctor, ensures that academic assessments proceed without disruptions or misconduct. The Exam Supervisor definition centers on maintaining the integrity of the testing environment, whether in bustling university halls or remote online sessions.

Historically, exam supervision emerged with the expansion of formal education in the 19th century, evolving alongside mass higher education post-World War II. In modern contexts, especially since the 2020s with digital shifts, supervisors adapt to proctoring software and hybrid formats. For those seeking Exam Supervisor jobs, understanding this evolution highlights the position's enduring importance in upholding academic standards.

• Collect and secure answer scripts post-exam
