An Academic Advisor, also known as a student advisor or academic counselor, is a vital professional in higher education who supports students in navigating their academic paths. The primary meaning of this position involves providing personalized guidance on course selection, degree requirements, major choices, and academic policies. In simple terms, an Academic Advisor helps students make informed decisions to achieve their educational and career goals efficiently.
