Emadi's research specializes in amino acid metabolism, particularly glutamine dependency in hematologic cancers such as acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), and solid tumors including pancreatic adenocarcinoma, mesothelioma, and brain tumors like IDH-mutant astrocytoma and glioblastoma.
