About Brooks
Brooks Brophy serves as Adjunct Faculty in the Business Management department at Bellevue College. His office is located in A254, and he is reachable at his professional email address. Brophy has maintained a consistent presence in the college's faculty listings over the years. In 2008, he was identified as a General Business Instructor in an official college document. By 2023, the Business Management faculty-staff page confirms his ongoing role as Adjunct Faculty. Additionally, a 2016 proposal for the Bachelor of Applied Science in Digital Marketing from the college references his involvement alongside other faculty members.
In the Business Division at Bellevue College, Brooks Brophy has taught courses such as Multi-Cultural Business Consulting, designated as G BUS 241 and cross-listed with ETHN 241. The syllabus for this course, dated to a version from January 2, 2007, and available on the college website, lists him as Professor Brooks Brophy, M.S. The course structure emphasizes practical field studies, requiring students to form teams of four or five members to collaborate with small start-up companies in the Bellevue area. This hands-on component underscores a focus on real-world application of business consulting in multicultural settings. Brophy provides instructor availability before and after class sessions, as well as through email communication, with responses typically within 24 hours excluding weekends. His contributions support the department's mission, working in tandem with full-time faculty including Program Chair Lisa Harris, Frank Hatstat, Andy Johnson, Suzanne Marks, and Komal Ram.
