Dr. Cindy Hudson is the Dean and Professor in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at North Park University, where she leads with exemplary achievements in scholarship, service, and leadership. Possessing more than 30 years of experience in academic nursing, clinical practice, and research, Dr. Hudson's professional journey includes service as both a military and civilian nurse across the United States and Germany. Her robust academic background features a Doctorate in Nursing Science from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, post-doctoral studies at the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh, a post-master’s Certificate in Public Health Nursing from the University of Missouri-Columbia, a Master of Arts in Management and Supervision from Central Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Duquesne University. She is board-certified as a Public Health Clinical Nurse Specialist (PHCNS-BC) and as a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE), reflecting her commitment to excellence in public health nursing and education.
