Movassaghi's research focuses on socially responsible investing, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies and their financial performance, sustainability strategies of small and medium-sized enterprises, and green finance. Movassaghi teaches courses including Financial Markets and Institutions, International Business Operations, and Managing in a Global Economy for MBA students, serves as Faculty Athletic Mentor for men's soccer, and is a member of the All-College Committees on Assessment, Policy, and Curriculum for 2025-2026.
