Professor Tsoi's research specializations include dental materials science, with emphasis on mechanical behaviors, surface and bonding properties, and ceramics; AI applications in dentistry such as smart manufacturing, digital dentistry, CAD/CAM, and 3D printing; and dental education in basic sciences and e-learning. He has authored over 180 peer-reviewed journal articles, published and granted 10 patents, and amassed more than 7,000 citations, demonstrating significant impact in the field.
