About Jessica

Dr. Jessica Huynh is an Assistant Lecturer in Korean Studies at Monash University, affiliated with the School of Languages, Literatures, Cultures and Linguistics in the Faculty of Arts. She obtained her Ph.D. from Sejong University and her Master's degree from Yeungnam University, both institutions in Korea. Dr. Huynh commenced her current position on 10 February 2025, following roles as Research Fellow and Teaching Associate at the Monash University Korean Studies Research Hub (MUKSRH). Her prior appointments include Lecturer at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Technology (HUFLIT) in Vietnam, as well as teaching positions at Seoul National University in Korea and the University of Melbourne. These experiences have equipped her with extensive expertise in Korean language education and cross-cultural academic environments.
