Jiali Jin is a researcher affiliated with the Tongji University Cancer Center at Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital, School of Medicine, Tongji University. Her work has focused on cancer-related molecular mechanisms, including contributions as co-first author on research published in Nature in 2025 examining HDAC6's role in sensing valine abundance to regulate DNA damage. Additional publications include studies on TGF-β signaling in prostate cancer cell stemness and lactate-induced polarization of tumor-associated macrophages.
She has been associated with the Institute for Advanced Study at Tongji University. In May 2026, Tongji University announced the termination of her researcher position following an investigation into data issues in a published paper, for which she was responsible for data collection and processing.
