Professor Soe's research specializations center on dental caries risk indicators, gingivitis, oral health literacy, and the effectiveness of school-based oral health education programs. He has co-authored several key publications, including 'Risk indicators of dental caries and gingivitis among 10-11-year-olds in Myanmar' in the International Dental Journal (2020), 'Effectiveness of a School Oral Health Education Program in Yangon, Myanmar' in the Journal of Pediatric Dentistry (2020), 'Assessment of Oral Health Literacy among Primary School Teachers in Yangon Region' in the Journal of Dental Science UDMY, 'Dental Service Use and Dentition Status among 12-year-old school children,' and contributions to the reliability and validity study of the Myanmar version of the Child Oral Health Impact Profile Short Form.
