About Marica

Marica Baleilevuka-Hart, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine. She earned her MD from Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon, graduating in June 2015. She then completed her Pediatrics residency at Oregon Health and Science University in June 2018. This was followed by a Pediatric Cardiology fellowship at the same university, finishing in June 2021. Subsequently, she pursued advanced training in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas, completing the fellowship in June 2022. Most recently, she finished a Pediatric Intensive Care fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario, in December 2023. As part of the Critical Care faculty at UCSF Department of Pediatrics, she contributes to patient care, resident education, and research in pediatric critical care at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals.
