Healy instructs a diverse array of courses, including International Media, Multiplatform Newsroom I, Media Literacy, Media and Sports, Media Project Management, Media Writing, Public Relations in Strategic Media, Sports Media Practices, Sportscasting, Sportswriting, Public Relations Campaigns, and Public Relations Strategies and Case Studies. His accolades include First Place for Color Commentary in Basketball from the Pennsylvania AP Broadcasters Association in 2011, Second Place in the same category in 2010, and Second Place for Football Color Commentary in 2009. Additionally, he received an Award of Distinction for Brochures and Catalogs from Susquehanna University Athletics and Recreation through the American Graphic Design and Advertising in 2009. Healy was inducted into the Duquesne Athletics Merle E. Gilliand Hall of Fame as a member of the 2003 NCAA FCS mid-major national championship football team and into the Baldwin High School Athletics Hall of Fame. He was selected for Pittsburgh Magazine’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2022 by Pittsburgh Magazine and PUMP.
