Simon Harris joined the University of Auckland in April 2018 as an Associate Professor of Probability in the Department of Statistics. His main research interests lie in probability theory, especially branching processes and stochastic population models. His work also touches on other areas of applied probability.
Prior to his appointment at the University of Auckland, Harris held a position at the University of Bath. His research focuses include probability theory, applied probability, branching processes, coalescents, and Brownian motion, as reflected in his academic profile and Google Scholar record.
