Founded in 1907, ECU is a public, four-year university located in Greenville, N.C., which is widely regarded as the cultural, educational, economic, and medical hub of eastern North Carolina. Through education, research, healthcare, community engagement, athletics, cultural enrichment, and service, ECU enhances the quality of life for its students, the state and communities around the world. It is a great place to work, teach, and learn.

Community Service-Learning Centers are educational clinics across North Carolina that expand access to oral health care in rural communities. The CSLC's are staffed with faculty, residents, students, dental hygienists, dental assistants and business staff. Fourth-year dental students complete clinical rotations at the centers, gaining experience with various patient populations and complex dental needs. Through education and service, the centers support student learning, improve access to care, and advance oral health outcomes statewide.
