The Assistant Director assists in developing, implementing, and
managing a comprehensive public relations strategy, encompassing
media relations, social media, website management, photography,
video production, and live streaming, to provide exposure for
Florida Tech's varsity athletic teams. The Assistant Director
demonstrates the ability to establish positive, mutually
respectful, and effective working relationships with
scholar-athletes, coaches, administrators, faculty, alumni, the
public, and representatives of internal and external local,
regional, and national media.
Assisting with all gameday athletic communications operations, setup, and teardown for all home varsity athletic events, including assisting with hiring, training, scheduling, and management of part-time and student personnel to ensure Florida Tech athletics provides a positive experience for all participants and spectators in person and across all web and social media platforms.
This position demonstrates establishing positive, mutually respectful, and effective working relationships with scholar-athletes, coaches, administrators, faculty, alumni, and the public in supporting the University’s mission to educate global thinkers, resilient problem solvers, and
